The Women's History Association of Ireland held a panel discussion and birthday celebration in honour of two of the founding figures of Irish women's history, Margaret MacCurtain and Mary Cullen.

The event took place on the afternoon of Saturday 7 November 2009, from 2.30 to 5.00 pm, at Boston College, 42 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, and was followed by a birthday celebration.
The original page also carried the association's constitution and an amended constitution as attachments, which have not been preserved.
The association's MacCurtain/Cullen Prize was named in recognition of their contribution to the field.
